About translucent frames: matte coated frames that are translucent colored will have some surface rust lines under the coating. This is more if a visual effect and has no effect on the structural integrity of the frame. It is also possible that you discover small marks on the tubes under the coating, which is not a mark on the coating itself but it is on the tube. Translucent colors show everything that is underneath them, this is completely normal and has no effect on the frame itself.
